Being raised on a small farm and in an area with several private lakes and ponds, we were able to observe all types of waterfowl. My brother and I began hunting around the age of 7 or 8. The word “Fowlaholic” came from the “obsession” we have for duck hunting. Each year we count down and eagerly await the day duck season opens. Although we enjoy hunting in general our true passion is hunting waterfowl. We love the excitement duck hunting brings as well as the opportunity to be outdoors in the marsh, bay, lake or ponds and observe waterfowl and their unique behavior and characteristics each season provides.
The idea to start this business venture came from the support of friends and family. We are fortunate to be exposed to duck hunting and inspired by some very special people in our lives; teachers, trainers, guides, friends and family to name a few. Our true passion of waterfowl influenced us to create the unique terminology “Fowlaholic” that truly reflects our obsession for duck hunting. During duck season we live it, love it, breathe it, and eat it until the last day. We can never get enough! We feel a “Fowlaholic” represent both the obsession to hunt waterfowl as well as observe and appreciate their unique behavior and different species.
As members of Duck Unlimited we support and encourage the conservation of wetlands and waterfowl.
